i have now received private confirmation by several people, one of whom worked at uunet before abovenet was founded, telling me that abovenet was not first to offer 95th percentile. in my limited defense i have to say that abovenet was the first i ever bought from who offered it that way, but it now appears that my experiences in buying transit were very limited. my apologies to all. next time i promise to check my facts before posting. |
