Abstract:	This talk focuses on the practical aspects of integrating Dynamic Packet Transport (DPT) into existing Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) networks. Topics covered in the talk include: What are DPT and SRP (Spatial Re-use Protocol)? Integrating DPT into your exsisting SDH network Removing the \"transport\" layer DPT and robustness SRP and the fairness algorithm Deployment issues and models Real world deployment example VersaTel is currently considering the deployment of this technology. Hence, this presentation is simply a theoretical look at the new technology.
