Rather than jumping down someone's throat here, are these assumptions rampant (or even accurate)? Unfortunately, you still see the same sort of grandiose claims being made at non-technical (particularly governmental policy-related) events. As for accuracy, IPv6 does provide more address space, the headers are simpler, and stateful auto-config is often provided if you want it. 3 out of 7... Regards, -drc
