What does DNS resolution have to do with 403 web errors?

Because it might resolve to several different IP addresses or is in the process of changing to a different IP and only one host might have been impacted by whatever was going on at the time.


e.g. if someone says www.microsoft.com is not working, it might help to know what IP they were talking to at the time...
