right. what i'm pointing out is that if Imagestream routers really ARE
capable of >OC12 (and perhaps multiple of them) then its unlikely its
s/w-based forwarding.
once again - i claim no clue on how Imagestream work. but i am very
familiar with linux. and router/switch architecture.

Linux, reportedly with custom RIB/FIB code.
IANAL, but gpl-violations.org strikes me as interesting. A court order
not to ship product is rather serious...
(For those who didn't follow the link, no such injunction has been
granted against IS. However, other embedded-Linux OEMs have not been so
lucky.)
