People have had the ability to name their nameservers whatever they wanted for some time, as long as it was one of their TLDs. There have been quite a number of my.domain.rulez.your.domain.sux.dude.we.rule.daves.org type nameserver names for years. Whois is just reporting both matches (both things that contain slashdot.org in the domain or nameserver that are in the database). -george william herbert [email protected]
