FYI - my experience with APCs and their DHCP functionality (something which was requested in the original posting) hasn't been great in the past. I've got several out in Europe and South America which failed to renew their leases not too long after I left the site. Sadly, I had to hand-configure their addresses. Admittedly, I haven't looked to see if this shortcoming has been resolved in later firmware releases, but it's something I've been sensitized to and have chosen to avoid altogether in the interest of reliability/expediency/etc.

ISTM there may be a temp/contact monitor I've heard of.
