RE: FDDI to FE?

I see you're getting responses so I won't go into equipment.  Be aware
though that the MTU of FE is 1500 bytes, and the MTU of FDDI is 4470
(defaults of course).  You can be hurt by this difference.  GigE does not
have that issue, if that's an option.
