Sometime try this:  (Status codes not necessarily correct)

shell> telnet mailserver.yourdomain.com

250 ok

250 Send Data one line at a time followed by a .

You can now make money faster than ever before just send us a bazillion
dollars first.

250 Message accepted for delivery
QUIT
250 Goodbye

Or, in other words, you can put ANYTHING YOU WANT in the sender envelope.
That is what is on the mail-from line.
