POWER: Chicago, IL power problems

Commonwealth Edison has lost several large transformers feeding the
the "West Loop" in Chicago.  Commonwealth Edison reports the outage
is in the Jefferson substation at 828 S. Jefferson St. starting around
10am CDT.  There are some major ISP/Telco facilties near that area.
At the moment, the ones I was able to reach report they are up on
backup power.
