it's probably going to come to that sooner or later.  i feel sure that
the companies who believe that their domain name is some kind of service
or trade mark are going to pay whatever it takes to keep it from changing.

on the other hand we had a comment from the press in here recently, to the
effect that some kind of change is coming before the end of the year.  who
knows, perhaps brighter minds than ours have already got everything fixed.
