Travel Info:

Getting from Stapleton to Boulder:

Distance is about 35 miles. Shuttle service by two companies:
Stapleton Supercoach (1-800-875-1951) departs Stapleton on the
half-hour from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm. Boulder Airporter (303-444-0808)
departs Stapleton on the hour from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.
You pick up the shuttles in the transportation area of Stapleton,
by the baggage area next to door #6. The Airporter has a booth.
Supercoach does not - you go to the Transportation Info area
to get it. Airporter: $10.50 to Boulder. Supercoach: $15, $25
round-trip with discounts for two or more going to same location.
They will take you to any motel, and Supercoach will take you
to any address in Boulder, including NCAR.

For rental cars, go north on Quebec and pick up I-270 (be carefull -
this is a left turn off Quebec and seems to come up suddenly.
Take I-270 to the Boulder exit (highway 36). again be carefull
or you will get on I-25 instead. Highway 36 takes you right past
the Clarion and Golden Buff (Highway 36 becomes 28th St.)
Days Inn is just off the first Boulder exit on Highway 36.

Getting from motels to NCAR:

NCAR is 600 ft. above the city against the foothills. You can
see it as you crest the last hill on the highway to Boulder.
NCAR is on Table Mesa Drive. If you are at the Days Inn, you
are on Table Mesa Dr (South Boulder Rd. and Table Mesa Dr. are
the same street with a name change). The easiest way to get to
NCAR from the Clarion or the Golden Buff is to take 28th St
South till you get to the Table Mesa Dr exit and go west about
3 miles. Warning: Table Mesa Dr. is a speed trap. There are
no local motel shuttles, but if you can figure out the city
bus schedule, you can take the bus to Table Mesa Dr & Broadway
and catch an NCAR shuttle. If anybody needs this option you
can get info from [email protected]

There are no hotel rooms blocked. Please reserve your hotel ASAP.
